Kate Walpole 

Passionate About Truth, Grace, and Freedom in Christ

When Kate was a young adult, she had her heart set on becoming a medical doctor. As time passed and Kate continued to fit her education in and around her life God called her to the ministry of counseling.  She realized this meant tending to the hearts and souls of people for God rather than medical needs.

Kate earned a BA and Master of Arts in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University. She also obtained full ordination as a Minister of the Gospel through the National Conservative Christian Church, now known as Experience Ministries in 2012. Soon after this she completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling.

Kate carries with her a great compassion to lift others up, freeing them from the bondage of sin and shame, setting their feet on a firm foundation so they can grow into all that God has for them.  Her compassion is driven by a heart totally devoted to God, surrendered and yielded to His authority alone.  From this place of determination, and guided by Isaiah chapter 61, in February of 2013, she founded and is the current Executive Director of Cross and Crown Counseling.

Kate loves to see people walk in freedom and in the understanding of God's heart for them as He has declared Good News to all.  The healing of the broken hearted and proclamation of freedom to captives in darkness, the bound and the prisoner can be set free by Holy Spirit! She uses many modes and techniques in counseling having acquired many tools over the years and trusts God to provide direction for each and every client she serves.

Kate is married to her beloved husband Jeff and her family consists of 5 amazing children and 2 grandchildren.​ Kate co-labors with her husband, the Pastor of House of His Presence, a local church in Dallas Oregon​. She also enjoys speaking at events and writing to encourage others in their spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth.
